Letter from the President

Dear Member:

On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for your support and continuing participation. We are truly grateful for you membership, without which we wouldn’t have an organization.

Your membership enabled us to accomplish so much in 2011! GDCTA hosted

One(1) USEF/USDF horse show and two(2) schooling shows

GDCTA is planning for another busy year! In 2012, we will be

Hosting three(3) USEF/USDF horse shows and one(1) schooling show
Numerous dressage and eventing clinics

Although we thrive on volunteer support, renewals are vital to our success! By remaining a member, we will be able to accomplish the many events planned for the year.

Membership Information

GDCTA is a GMO (Group Member Organization) of the United States Dressage Federation. Your GDCTA membership year runs December 1 through November 30 each year. New applications received after October 1 will be applied to the next membership year.

As a member you'll receive:

Eligibility for GDCTA year-end awards in dressage and combined training with both USEF recognized and schooling show divisions
Free subscription to the association's monthly newsletter, Collected Remarks
USDF Group Membership and eligibility to compete at USDF-recognized shows
Eligibility to participate in USDF Rider Award programs

We offer three types of memberships:

Senior (18 years and over) - $55.00
Junior (under 18 years) - $45.00
Family (Parent/Guardian and one other family member. Each additional family member is $10.00 each) - $65.00

Volunteer Information

GDCTA is a member-focused and member-run organization that depends on volunteers! We encourage you to become involved in any of the many activities we offer. Scribing at a show is a great educational experience and will make you a better rider! If you're a trainer, volunteer your time for a Kudzu Klinic... Have a new idea? Bring it to the board at a meeting.

GDCTA is currently in the process of expanding our list of volunteers. Now is your chance to give back to the organization that continually strives to make your dressage and eventing dreams and goals a reality. We are in constant need of volunteers for our wonderful recognized shows, schooling shows and many other activities.

Please plan on setting a day aside this year for GDCTA. Volunteering is fun and educational! Never volunteered before? No problem! We'll walk you through it. Complete training provided!

Annual Member Directory

There are nearly 700 members of GDCTA and every member will use this directory to regularly contact their friends, trainers and other equine professionals. Members receive 2 free business listings. Remember to send in the form on time to be included. Advertising is welcome in the Yellow Pages section.
